For =eleganceliberty's Art Jam thingy! (rules here: [link] )

You're supposed to draw one of your original characters how they looked a long time ago, but in your current style. (so I guess like..if they had an outfit change over the years, draw them with their OLD outfit, etc)

Milo hasn't really changed much at all over the years, so most of his pictures look basically the same except some minor details XD I tried not to change him TOO much, but with his old design, it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE for me to draw how his body was shaped without looking awkward. So to be able to draw him in my current style at ALL, he had to have some minor changes in shape, lol.

Geez I can't believe how much I SUCKED freshman year of high school. Just...wow. How embarrassing D8 I'm PRETTY sure that's the first picture I drew of him.

I love doing things like this. Sometimes, you can find cool characters you've forgotten about. ^^

Whoa! There is indeed a lot of improvement! I must admit I've been caught by surprise with the first drawing, I didn't expect it to look like that (I hope that doesn't sound mean to you. TT__TT). You improved a lot in a relatively short time span.

Ahahaha, well thanks, I'm glad the improvement is really that much, honestly! XD And don't worry, I pretty KNOW the first one is utterly terrible.

I made that one freshman year of HS, coming right out of grade school where I had barely improved, because I was always the "best" and had no competition there. But once I got into HS, and there were people BETTER than me there, I actually started REALLY working to improve, and taking inspiration and such from my artist friends and other places. I was looking at some of my other old art, and the improvement jump from freshman year to senior year is REALLY noticeable, because I actually started taking it more seriously.

I know what you mean! I barely had any competition at all even I was in high school. Then in 4th year of High School I acknowledged of one girl that could draw Anime really well. I was comparing my work with hers, and wanted to get better. So between 4th and senior year that was a lot of progress as well.

Strangely enough, I met that girl again on DA like 3 years ago. What are the odds such a thing could happen? It's such a small world we live in.

Now that I've seen your Art Jam entry, I feel like doing one as well (I was doing a lot of clean-up yesterday and stumbled on lots of old, repulsive drawings of mine! :XD: )
